I had a lovely time with this gorgeous girl in front of my camera! I met Holly through one of my previous clients Christine who brought Holly in with her for a beauty session along with her. Holly came in very nervous but after getting pampered by one of my most favourite hair and make up artists Trena Laine and having her friend right there with her, Holly rocked this session!

Creative Shoot in Nose Hill Park, Calgary

I have been itching to do a creative shoot and test out a few ideas and this wonderful girl gave me everything and more! She has never modeled before however she made this shoot fun and super enjoyable and we got some amazing and beautiful images with her!

This photo session could not have come at a better time, because I had been watching the Fine Art Portrait workshop with Brooke Haden on CreativeLive and was inspired to add a few unique shots to what I would normally do. My style is usually pretty classic, timeless and beautiful, and I really wanted to push myself to add to it and enhance it! Plus, I love shooting outdoors, I have a love affair with natural light, we get along pretty well.

I have also included a few behind the scenes shots, those are always fun haha.

I absolutely love photographing Christine because she is brings me so much joy when she’s in front of my lens. She said something to me that stuck with me. She said: “I never liked having my photos taken, but now I’m an addict, I love having my photos taken by you because you make it fun and comfortable”. Right back at ya, Christine!

Deanna and Ryan are one of my favourite clients who come back for their family photos year after year (sometimes twice a year). This time I had the pleasure of meeting their new addition to the family – baby Alexander. You can clearly see mom and dad are completely overjoyed with him Their princess Isabelle was rocking the session dancing, twirling, climbing, running, laughing and kissing her little brother!

More photos from travels with my parents when they came over here for vacation! Loved having them with us, our schedule was jam packed with things to go and see. Love travelling and I am incredibly happy we were able to go to another side of Canada with my mom and dad and see Niagara Falls, they were truly majestic!

I was super happy to meet a couple of facebook friends in person (hey Oleg and Janna!!!), they made this trip so much better!

Banff and Invermere trip: Part 1

My parents are visiting us from Russia and we took them to some of our most favourite places: Banff and Invermere.

I can’t believe that in almost 8 years that we’ve lived in Canada we have never taken a gondola ride! What a fantastic experience!
